Wine tasting
The hosts live next door in a 200+-year-old mansion, built by Soma Felsősajói Sebők, the great grandfather of the owner.
In the old cellar of this house, you can take part in professional wine tasting sessions.
Stone carving
One of the hobbies of the host, Gábor Both, is stone carving. He carves small sculptures and he uses the local Permian red sandstone. He holds stone carving workshops for the guests, so they can enrich themselves with an eternal memory made by themselves.
Sailing
The hosts have been devoted to this noble sport for three generations. When the weather permitting we will organize sailing for our guests. It is particularly enjoyable to watch the sunset while rocking on the waters of Lake Balaton.
Viewpoint
There are two viewpoints on the hill above the village. One is the Horthy Miklós tower and shelter built in 1934 on Csere hill. And the secound you will find on Somlyó hill, above the cemetery. It is a newly built woden viewpoint.
Old village / Church / Turkish House
Alsóörs is a charming 750-year-old settlement. It is worth taking a walk away from the coast between the houses of the old village. You will see the XIII. a Romanesque church built in the 13th century and small noble mansion, so called the “Turkish House”.
Trips
Several hiking trails pass through Alsóörs, such as the Balaton-Eszaki-Kék-hiking route.
Csopak, Balatonfüred and Tihany are also easily accessible by bike, and half-day and one-day boat trips depart from the town’s port.

HOUSE RULES
A maximum of 4 people can stay at the accommodation, not including children under 3 years old.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets.
Smoking and the use of open flames inside the building and in its immediate vicinity strictly FORBIDDEN! Smoking is only allowed in designated areas!
The hosts are available by phone 24 hours a day.
The hosts are on site upon arrival and departure.
For bookings longer than 7 nights, weekly cleaning and bed linen/towel change in included.
Please use the furnishings as intended!
The furnishing and equipment of the rooms, including towels, blankets, bed linen etc. it is forbidden to take it out of the house!
When leaving, we inspect the house and in case of possible damage, the resulting costs will be reimbursed by the guest on the spot.
When leaving the room, please make sure that the air conditioning, the electricity is switched off and the water taps are closed.
In case of loss of the keys and gate remote control, the Guest shall immediately is obliged to inform the host and reimburse the costs involved.
The House will be taken over by the Guests clean and tidy, if a problem arises please indicate clearly, we are unable to accept subsequent complaints.
We do not clean during their stay, but we provide the necessary machines and tools.
Fires can only be made in the designated fire place with the presence of the host.
In order to ensure peace with the neighbors,loud noise or listening to loud music is prohibited between 12 AM and 8 AM.
